Identifying Liquids with pH
Key definitions:
pH: the amount of charged hydrogen atoms in a liquid
Acids: high concentration of hydrogen ions
Bases: low concentration of hydrogen ions
Supplies:
3 identical cups
3 cups of water
Lemon juice (~1 tablespoon)
Baking Soda (~1 tablespoon)
3 pH strips (I found mine online here: Litmus Paper 2 Pack pH Strips)
