Our Story

Beginning as a high school club in New Jersey, our goal was to spread our knowledge about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math with curious kids in our local community. We ran multiple workshops, reaching over 100 elementary schoolers through hands-on activities and sparking their interest in STEM. We reached our goal, but we realized that kids all over the world could benefit from our work just by digitizing it.

Our Mission

STEM education is extremely important, especially now. We live in an ever-changing society that values developments in science and technology to better the lives of people around the world. These fields also offer increasingly high paying jobs, incentivizing students to pursue STEM. Unfortunately, many children do not have the opportunity to learn about or interact with STEM in their classrooms due to a lack of resources, conflicting priorities in the curriculum, as well as the lack of encouragement in and exposure to STEM activities and STEM careers. We hope to provide students with engaging content that is both educational and inspirational.

Louise Carroll

Louise Carroll is a student at The Lawrenceville School, Class of 2026. She identifies herself as a ‘STEM Enthusiast’ who loves to learn about the sciences and share her knowledge with younger students. For her Girl Scout Gold Award project, she founded The STEM Outreach Club, which worked with her high school to educate over 100 K-8 students about STEM and STEM careers through hands-on activities and presentations. Surveyed students enjoyed this initiative, with 96% stating they learned something new and felt more positive about STEM fields after participating. Louise hopes to expand the project nationally through this website, digitizing her activities and lesson plans so students around the country can access free STEM education.
